Day 2: São Luís – Barreirinhas
08:00 – Departure to Barreirinhas, a 4-hour drive along a good road where we can see Babaçu and Buriti plantations. Barreirinhas is located on the banks of the Preguiças River and remains a very peaceful and welcoming town. The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, located near the town, is a rare gem with magnificent dunes sculpted by nature and, from March to September, hundreds of lagoons formed by seasonal rainwater. Arrival and check-in.
Between 13:40 and 14:15 – We begin boarding for the 4×4 tour toward the heart of Lençóis, where we will walk along the Lagoa Azul circuit, enjoy a swim in the lagoon, and admire the beautiful sunset over the dunes. At the end of the afternoon, we return to Barreirinhas and you may enjoy a swim in the hotel pool, stroll through the peaceful streets of the town, or simply enjoy the calm waters from the riverbank while savoring a delicious pizza in the local restaurants.

Day 3: Barreirinhas – Atins
08:15 – Transfer from the inn to the riverbank.
Note: Guests staying at Pousadas Encantes do Nordeste, Portal do Sol, Vasto Horizontes, Grand Lençóis, and Boa Vista will board at the pier of each Pousada between 08:40 and 09:00; therefore, no transfer to the riverbank is needed.
Around 08:30 a.m., we board a speedboat for a ride along the majestic Preguiças River. With its calm waters, we will see along the riverbanks: streams, mangroves, buritis, Juçara (açaí) trees, tucunzeiros, as well as herons and kingfishers. We stop in the communities of VASSOURAS, also known as Pequeños Lençóis, where we can enjoy delicious coconut water and interact with the local capuchin monkeys; MANDACARÚ, a small fishing village where we climb 160 steps to the Preguiças Lighthouse to admire the paradisiacal views of the dunes, the river and its mouth, the ocean, and the typical vegetation; and finally CABURÉ, a strip of dunes located between the river and the sea.
14:00 – We head toward the village of Atins, arrive at the meeting point, and continue in a 4×4 to the inn.

Day 4: Atins
Morning at leisure.
From 15:00 – Departure in a 4×4 vehicle to Canto do Atins, where we will walk through the beautiful dunes of the park and refresh ourselves in the lagoons formed during the rainy season. After sunset, return to the inn.

Day 5: Atins – Parnaíba
Atins – Caburé – Parnaíba
10:00 a.m. – Transfer from the inn to the speedboat boarding point. We board a speedboat for a 15-minute crossing of the Preguiças River to Caburé, where we board a 4×4 vehicle to Tutóia. Along the way, we travel 15 km of deserted beaches, then 5 km of beautiful dune beaches, and another 10 km of off-road trails until reaching the small village of Paulino Neves. We then continue along 30 km of paved road to our destination. Arrival and boarding of a speedboat to cross the Delta. We navigate through several labyrinths formed by the igarapés, with the opportunity to observe a crab-fishing demonstration. We also visit some fishing corrals used by local riverside communities, pass in front of the São Bernardo viewpoint where we will see a small church in the middle of nowhere, and at Morro do Meio, we can take a dip in the waters of Parnaíba. Lunch (not included) will take place on one of the Delta islands, according to the guide/pilot. Arrival at Porto de Tatus in Parnaíba. Transfer to the inn.

Day 6: Parnaíba – Jericoacoara
09:00 a.m. – Departure in a 4×4 vehicle from Parnaíba toward Jericoacoara. On the way, we pass through Camocim, where we take a ferry to Ilha do Amor, and begin our journey along kilometers of dunes and deserted beaches. We stop for photos at Duna do Funil and Lagoa da Torta in Tatajuba, where we choose lunch (not included) from the “live menu” (you choose the fresh fish you will eat) and relax in hammocks in the lagoon. We continue along the beaches to Guriú, cross again by ferry, then continue to Mangue Seco and finally Jericoacoara. Arrival around 15:00 in Jericoacoara.

Day 7: Jericoacoara
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Jericoacoara in the morning to our first stop for photos at the Preguiça Tree. Inside Jericoacoara National Park, we visit the seasonal lagoons that form between the huge dunes during the rainy season. Visit to Lagoa Azul with a stop for swimming, then continue to Lagoa do Paraíso for lunch and swimming in its crystal-clear waters. Return around 14:00.

Transfer from the hotel in Jericoacoara to Fortaleza airport
